This review is only for the Sunday Happy Hour. The upstairs restaurant is too fancy for meeeee. Came here to find dollar oysters and boy was it a treat. The oysters were creamy and shucked so cleanly. The house vinaigrette is so unique. We had such a good time here. Great vibes. You get that upscale feel in an intimate setting. The service was tops. We also ordered the chicken karaage and it’s definitely a must. Will definitely come back!!

Food is great! Business lunch set comes out quick for those short on time. Portions a bit small

Got the omakase here, 3 hour meal with lots of goodies. It's five courses but each course has a bunch of dishes so it's more like a 10-12 course meal. The sashimi was super fresh and the dishes were a good mix of fusion, e.g. Alaskan crab legs with a miso butter. The dessert platter was my favorite, where we got a bunch of different desserts to share and try. All in all you get a lot of food for the $128 price.

Had dinner during SF Restaurant Week. Had an outstanding dinner. The hamachi starter was delicious in a ponzu sauce ðŸ‘.The sashimi platter was excellent. All the fish were very fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the scallop. So big and juicy! The wagyu steak was as expected. High quality beef and grilled to perfection. The steak was served with a huge piece of bone marrow. So much rich and fatty marrow 😀. Over the top!Dessert was great. Just didn't have room to eat it all. Drink menu is great. Lots of great wine by the glass. Three draft 🻠options were great. Definitely would come back again.

Quite an expensive place considering the portion. The experience is good. Went there with a party of 10. Needed to make reservation way ahead of time. Minimum spend for that number number of people in a group is at least $1300 or $130/pax. The Ossetra caviar was divine, even the kids loved it with the mini blinis. The A5 Kobe beef was exquisite which is priced at $85/oz or so. Hopefully they really served us the A5. The lamb chops was also really cooked very well and was tasty. All in all it was a great experience and everyone is again planning to go back.

Great tasting, exceptionally fresh and also very gluten free friendly. Tartare, crab rolls, spicy hamachi - just excellent

I've gone here twice and gotten the omakase both times. Both times I've had completely sublime experiences that had almost no overlap. Also, given the amount of food you're served, the price of the omakase is pretty reasonable.Go here with other people who enjoy food, and get the omakase. It'll be one of the most memorable meals you can have.

Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Wagyu Sirloin with Grilled Bone Marrow. Expect to spend around at least $100 per person or more if you get drinks as well.

Very good food and service. This was my first time in the main restaurant and was impressed.I like my sashimi unadulterated, but the garlic and sauce with the Yellowtail appetizer were a good combo. The NY Steak with mushrooms was perfectly cooked and super tender.I tried my friend's Miso Glazed Black Cod and it was good, but maybe a touch over where I like it. The extra miso sauce . . . who uses that?!? The mizuna salad was kinda over-dressed.A bit pricey, but it's in a central location and quality ingredients. I'd come again, but more of an event or occasion type of place.
